Sunday 22nd November 2009 was the first anniversary of Jill's passing so it was an appropriate date for us to celebrate her life. Sunday Shining had been planned for 3 months and was a charity gig at The Grey Horse in Kingston, Surrey. The venue was great, just the right size to take all of our supporters, and the music was fabulous! Zena, Sumudu and Seeker were wonderful, so kind and friendly and really, really good! We managed to get some wonderful donations for the raffle, and thanks go to EMI, the New Wimbledon Theatre and to St. George's Students Union for their support. All told, a really good evening which everyone seemed to enjoy. I am being told that we must do it again! Will post details of how much we raised when I have managed to complete the counting!
